Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, coffee was everywhere. But despite all of this, I didn't even drink coffee until 2020, when I first tried a specialty coffee from a family friend. Suddenly, all of my reasons for disliking coffee went away with a balanced and high-quality roast that wasn't burnt. I was hooked.

I went in search of a way to combine two of my passions - one new, one old: The great outdoors, and great coffee. Coffee in hand, I visited every 4x4 shop within 20 minutes of home to see if they had any need for coffee roasted by a camping & outdoors enthusiast. Ironman 4x4's HQ, located in Sherwood, Oregon, immediately invited me to be the coffee provider for their monthly Rigs & Coffee event.

The rest, as they say, is delicious history. I found mentors who graciously introduced me to farmers and cooperatives to provide the green beans I needed from around the world, and taught me how to perfect my craft of roasting. Today, I still roast every batch by hand at our small facility in Dundee, Oregon, and focus on coffee without compromises, made for every adventure your life will take you on. I hope we meet soon over a cup of Beadlock Coffee!
